One skein of Unique Hand-dyed Alpaca/Silk Thick Sock Wool, 100 grams and about 280 yards in total.
This unusual luxury yarn is slightly thicker than normal sock wool, so you may need slightly more for a pair of socks. It is 80% Alpaca and 20% silk and is both soft and strong, it will make gorgeous socks and is also perfect for baby clothes.
This yarn was all dyed in one large skein, however please be aware as seen in the photo there is a colour variation from skein to skein.
We recommend you knit with 2.5mm to 3mm needles.
We double wash all our yarns, however you may find there is some dye residue left, this is perfectly harmless. We recommend you hand wash your finished garment using dish washing detergent.
